THE MASK

Being a student during the pandemic made academics a lot harder for me as I now had to adjust to an online format that I had no previous experience with and felt like I had to navigate this new school format all alone! It wasn't the same asking for help from classmates, TA's or even Professors because almost no one knew what to expect with such rapid changes. I often found myself very discouraged and like I could really only give my school work and projects the bare minimum effort, anything to just pass the class really. Once it felt like I was barely getting used to online school is when we switched back to in person and that was an entirely new aspect of academics I had to adjust to as well! There were a lot of ups and downs as a student during the pandemic that I would say helped me grow as a student but also was so overwhelming to have to adapt as well.
